Ten years ago, I set off on another career, with my passion left on hold.
Having worked as a full-time elementary teacher for nine years, I never thought it would help me become a better photographer.
While I left my teaching career in 2022 (but never let go of my dream of photographing weddings full-time), I still carry skills from that career that continue to help me be my best for my wedding clients. From organization, to commanding a crowd (yes, I've used my teacher voice before), to anticipating moments during a wedding that most would never notice.

I am not shooting for my portfolio. I am shooting and capturing what you worked so hard to create, to forever preserve those details and all the moments in between. I will be your partner throughout the day, ensuring only your unique relationship is captured, not what I think would make a great shot. I always say, if I can see myself in your portraits & the shot is so manufactured for me and by me, I don't like it. Every relationship is different, every couple interacts differently. Most of my work with you will take place before the actual wedding.
QUESTIONS
How do custom wedding collections work?
I know that every wedding is unique, just like every client has different needs & expectations for photography. With a custom tailored collection for your wedding day, we can put together a collection that only has want you need. Add-ons for collections can include rehearsal dinner coverage, engagement party coverage, an engagement session, & albums and print products. We will discuss these options during a consultation call & the best way to set one up is to fill out our contact form here. The more details you give, the better.
How do I confirm my wedding date?
After the consultation call, you will review and decide on a tailored collection that fits your needs. From there, I will prepare a contract for you to review & sign. Once the contract is signed, you'll be sent an invoice to pay a booking fee to hold your date. The booking fee will guarantee your date is secured in our calendar, and you will be officially official! The final payment will be due one month prior to your date. At this time, we will also meet again to finalize the timeline together & review the shot list.
Do you offer videography? Do you have any other vendors you love?
I only specialize in photography, ensuring I am a master at my craft. I have a preferred vendor list that I share with every couple that includes the best professionals I've worked with, from wedding planners, to videographers. All categories are included on the list, even some you might not have thought about just yet! I only refer colleagues that will offer a top-notch experience & who have always been a pleasure to work with.
